Safari Golf Club Texas is a group of friends living in Houston and surrounding areas who have come together to play golf, support each other and to network. We have a tournament each month at different courses around the city.

The golf club was formed:

• To promote and foster among the members, friendship, good sportsmanship and fraternity for their joint and mutual benefit
• To promote and conserve the best interests and true spirit of the game of golf as embodied in its ancient and honorable traditions.
• To encourage conformance to the USGA Rules of Golf.
• To maintain a uniform system of handicapping as set forth in the USGA Handicap System and issue USGA Handicap Indexes to the members.
• To foster relationships between club members and golfers/Golf clubs and to establish channels to reciprocate affiliations to promote and conserve the best interests and true spirit of Golf
